Q. Do I need to wear a mask at the Libraries?

Answer

To support public health, and in compliance with Honolulu's Emergency Order 2020-07, HPU Libraries requires that all visitors to all three library locations wear a non-medical grade face mask.

The CDC additionally advises that individuals wear a cloth face covering over their nose and mouth while in public settings, in order to protect others from infection by those who are infected with coronavirus but who are not exhibiting symptoms: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/cloth-face-cover.html
