How can I get access to The New York Times?

New York Times institutional access provides HPU users with individual subscriber access to NYTimes.com.
Users are required to create an individual username and password. First-time users may register via this link: NYT Account Activation
- Enter school name: Hawaii Pacific University.
- Follow directions on next page to access NYTimes.com. You must use your HPU email address
Students: Once you register, you will have access until you graduate (and will never need to renew).
Faculty/Staff: NYT changed the renewal period for faculty/staff from annually to every four years in 2021. If you claimed your Academic Pass in 2020, you were given access for only one year. If your pass has expired, you will need to re-subscribe to receive access for four more years.
